For artificial turf installations for large fields (soccer, lacrosse, flag football, field hockey, ultimate frisbee) a 25 lb weight (minimum) is needed at each corner and line end on interior lines.  

Indoor sports with smaller courts (badminton, volleyball) will need at least 10 lb weights.  For beach sports (volleyball, soccer, lacrosse, flag football), use the anchor plate to dig a hole in the sand.  Then bury the plate in the hole with the bungee cord and snap hook extending out of the sand and attach to the corner ring.  This is the best sand solution available!
